Pongal celebration were filled with fanfare and gusto at Vikas International School. The School took great care in spreading the culture of India by celebrating Pongal. In praise of the Sun God, Pongal was prepared in a traditional way using mud pot. It was then placed under the tripod of sugarcane for the grand Pooja. The day culminated with the distribution of main dish of the festival, CHAKKARAI PONGAL.
